If I organize the various roles I play in life, wife and mama are co-champions of the list. My husband, Jesse, and I have two beautiful kids - Isabel and Eli. They are to us what children are to every parent: the brightest spots in life.
I've lived in Greenville since graduating from the University of South Carolina in 2005, with the exception of a wonderful year Jesse and I spent living in Philadelphia. We moved back to Greenville just before having IS in June 2012, then Eli came along in September 2014.
While being wife and mom is #1, I find a great deal of my identity in work and being creative. When I started Paper Airplanes in January 2016, my goal was (and is) to express myself, but it's also to make what most people consider impossible or daunting tasks -- producing marketing materials, setting up a website or planning an event -- not only possible but simple and cost effective.
